First Haircut – Project Life

One of my favorite everyday-sort-of-memories this year was when you got your first haircut. Dad and I usually schedule our appointments back-to-back (he doesn’t like going to the beauty shop for some reason…). 😉 We take the whole family with us. You always get held and spoiled by the ladies there.

On this day, I asked our beautician if she thought you were ready for a haircut. I thought your hair was uneven in places (the nape breaks easily). She asked a friend to look at your hair instead — and she was eager to play with your full head of hair! You sat quietly, playing with the clips as she detangled your afro. Then, you sat on mommy’s lap was she trimmed your ends. You did a great job!

Your first hair cut — at 15-1/2 months old.

What is Project Life?

I like to think of Becky Higgins’ Project Life system as a memory keeping alternative. It removes that “fuss” from scrapbooking. I’ve been using Project Life more and more this year to document our family’s daily life. It’s quick and doesn’t require any embellishing — unless I want to! 🙂 I’ll share more pages soon.

  1. Oh my goodness, so cute. I’m about to start working on completing my boys’ albums and I LOVE seeing cute kid pages to help me get inspired.

    • Thanks, Cerise! I find that I take way too many photos of single events and cannot narrow them down. This page seemed to work, though! Can’t have too many pics of my sweet girl! 😉
